Clean Water Projects)

ICI, in partnership with Second Chance Aid charity organization, celebrated the grand opening of 6 clean water systems that provide clean water for more than 6,668 poor families, including 32,022 minority ethnic villagers in the central highland region. We also conducted needs assessment at 5 sites for future clean water projects.

Water sources in these ethnic minority villages are always scarce, and the water is contaminated with mud, and water in some places are contaminated with alum, salt, and pesticides. Since the clean water plant was installed, villagers fetching water were very crowded. Villagers are happy to have clean water to drink. Everyone felt secure and happy. The villagers' life expectancy will hopefully be increased, and intestinal diseases are expected to decrease.

ICI and SCA non-profit organizations invite sponsors to continue to accompany our efforts in the journey to bring clean water to everyone, especially the places in the north, central, and south highland areas that need assistance. Thank you for your generosity and support.

•  CWP #1: Bon Bu Boong, Đăk Búk So commune, Tuy Đức district, Đắk Nông province. Completed on July 25th, 2023. Supporting 645 poor families/6,050 M’Nông villagers.
• CWP #2: Kon BơBăn village, Ngọc Réo commune, Đăk Hà district, Kontum province. Completed on September 6th, 2023. Supporting 250 poor families/1,790 Tơdrã villagers.
• CWP #3: Plum village (and villages near by: Băng Kung, Duôr Rang, Plum, Za, Cư Mil, Tluôt, Krông), Êa Trul commune, Krông district, Đắk Lắk province. Supporting 1,073 poor families/5,048 Ê Đê villagers. Completed on October 1st, 2023.
• CWP #4: chùa Phước Đức, Êa Trul commune, Krông district, Đắk Lắk province. Supporting 1,500 poor families/7,534 Ê Đê villagers. Completed on November 21st, 2023.
• CWP #5: Tân Phúc Church, Quảng Trực commune, Tuy Đức district, Đăk Nông province. Supporting 3,000 poor families/10,000 M’Nông villagers.  Completed on October 15th, 2023.
• CWP #6: @ Tea Pen, Tea Hơ-ô, Tea Rong villages, Văn Lem commune, Đắk Tô district, Kontum province. Supporting 260 poor families/1,500 Sê Đăng villagers. Completed in November 25th, 2023.

Replaced 1 CWP Due to the damaged caused by lightning strikes - Replaced Clean Water Systems for Bon Bulum, Quảng Trực commune, Tuy Đức district, Đăk Nông province. Supporting 6,000 M’Nông villagers. Completed on August 11th, 2023.

ICI hợp tác với hội từ thiện Second Chance Aid (SCA) tổ chức lễ khánh thành 6 hệ thống nước sạch, cung cấp nước sạch cho hơn 6.668 gia đình nghèo bao gồm 32.022 người dân tộc thiểu số vùng Tây Nguyên. Chúng tôi cũng đã khảo sát nhu cầu tại 5 địa điểm cho các dự án nước sạch trong tương lai.

Nguồn nước tại các làng dân tộc thiểu số này luôn khan hiếm, nước bị nhiễm bùn, có nơi bị nhiễm phèn, muối, thuốc trừ sâu. Từ khi có máy nước sạch, người dân đi lấy nước rất đông, có nước sạch để uống và vui mừng. Mọi người đều cảm thấy an toàn và hạnh phúc. Tuổi thọ của dân làng tăng lên, bệnh đường ruột hiếm khi xảy ra.
